The significant refurbishment of this landmark building owned by The Crown Estate will provide new structure to enhance existing levels. The works will provide a new rationalised core layout to optimise office floor places and provide 22,00 sq ft of mixed-use commercial premises that includes retail provisions at basement and ground floor in addition to a roof top terrace. The deep retro fit will deliver energy and sustainability improvements to this prime Quadrant 3 premises.
On 21-29 Glasshouse Street, BIM Technologies is supporting BAM Construction from Stage 5 onwards through to Completion, acting in the Project Information Manager role to support construction-stage information management and final handover.
The focus of the appointment is to help BAM manage, coordinate and validate project information during the construction phase, ensuring that the information produced by the project team, consultants and supply chain is aligned with the project's information requirements and suitable for final handover.
This role differs from the earlier-stage Crown Estates appointments, as BIM Technologies is supporting the project during delivery and close-out rather than pre-construction. The appointment therefore demonstrates BIM Technologies' capability across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage digital assurance through to construction-stage information management and final Asset Information Model handover.
