33-35 Piccadilly

Location
London

33-35 Piccadilly is the only new building construction project in The Crown Estate's development pipeline. The redevelopment will provide 3,000 sq ft of prime retail, and food and beverage, space on the ground floor, with 30,000 sq ft of office space on the floors above, representing an 85% increase in office and retail floor space.
The finished project will provide an improved connection between Regent Street and Piccadilly, while better linking St James's Church and Jermyn Street. It is targeted to achieve a NABERS 5* rating, a WELL Platinum Certification and BREEAM Outstanding.
BIM Technologies was appointed by DSDHA to provide Project Information Manager services for 33-35 Piccadilly, working as part of the Lead Architectural Team. DSDHA subcontracted the PrIM services to BIM Technologies to support the project team in meeting The Crown Estate's digital information requirements.
Our role focused on reviewing and coordinating project information up to Tender Stage, with particular emphasis on clash detection, model review, and the production of Gateway Audits. These audits were used to assess the level of compliance with The Crown Estate protocols and to provide the project team with clear feedback on information quality, coordination issues and areas requiring improvements before tender.
This appointment demonstrates BIM Technologies' ability to work within the lead designer's team while providing independent digital assurance against client information standards.
Key services provided include: Project Information Manager services, clash detection and coordination review, Gateway Audits, compliance review against The Crown Estate protocols, support to the Lead Architectural team up to Tender Stage.
